Description
Animal Farm, by George Orwell, is an allegorical novella where farm animals rebel against their human owner to create an equal society, only to have the pigs, led by Napoleon, establish a totalitarian dictatorship. The pigs corrupt the original, idealistic principles of "Animalism" for personal power, eventually becoming indistinguishable from the humans they replaced.
